ABOUT GEORGETOWN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

Our school is a place where children want to spend their time, where they anticipate and experience the wonder of learning, and where they leave with a desire to return again and again. Children will be fully accepted, respected, and valued for whom they are and all that they become.

Teachers will be accountable.  They will lead with conviction and passion.  They will have high expectations for each and every child.  They will model their own love for learning and demonstrate their belief in children by standing as their advocates.  They will challenge stud
ents with well planned, meaningful work that is focused on quality.

Students will be willing learners.  They will be respectful.  They will be motivated and will strive to be productive, responsible learners and citizens in their educational community. Family will remain a child’s most influential teacher, the true source of love, identity, support, and self-worth.  They will work willingly with the school in partnership and support.

Our community, along with parents, teachers, and schools will act together to support each other in the collective effort to raise responsible and productive citizens in our society.
